Would you like to learn how to make beautiful lifelike babies like these? The art of reborning or newborning can be a rewarding hobby or a wonderful way to have your own business and to be able to work from home as I do.
I am happy to offer personal instruction in this unique artform. I take my students through the entire reborning process from preparing the doll kit to weighting and assembling your precious new baby. I offer instruction for two skill levels, beginners and advanced. I also offer a hair rooting class as a seperate class.
My beginner reborning classes are a 1 day (8 hour) class. I will provide all the materials needed including the doll kit. In this class my students will reborn a five-piece closed eyed doll kit (head and limbs). I will show my students how to mix their paints to achieve lifelike skin tones for realistic veining, mottling, and nails. We will apply details such as eyebrows and eyelashes. We will end with sealing our paint and assembling our babies. I even provide an outfit and receiving blanket for your new baby to wear home.
My advanced classes are for the experienced reborner. This is a 2 day (16 hour) class where we will go over more advanced techninques in mottling, veining (capillaries), undertones and details, such as milia and working with open eyes and belly plates.
My hair rooting class is a 1 day (4 hour) class where my students will learn to add realistic baby hair to their reborns using the advanced micro rooting and ultra micro rooting techniques. I will show my students how to create a create a natural crown and realistic growth pattern that will add a stunning level of realism to their reborn baby doll.
